How we use your school's details
A short, plain note about what BloomBridge keeps when a school asks for access, and why.
What you send us
The school's name, city and country, your name and role, your email and phone or WhatsApp number, and, if you choose, how many children would use it, whether to add Hindi, and a note.
Why
Only to set up BloomBridge for your school: to send your access code, to talk with you about pricing, and to help when you need us. We never sell or share these details.
The device log
When a device first opens BloomBridge with your school's code, we note it: the school, a short code standing for that device (not its name, not the person), the date, the city and country, and the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) with its system, such as Android or Windows. We do not record the device itself: not its model, its name or its browser. We note it again at most once a month while the device is in use. This helps us see if a code has been passed to another school. It never blocks a teacher.
City level only
The city and country come from the internet connection and are only as precise as a city. We do not keep IP addresses.
What we do not collect
We do not collect children's names or anything a child does in the app. The class's work stays on your school's own devices.
Children's work stays on the device
Observations, boards and notes are saved on the device that made them. Keep a backup file, as the app suggests.
How long we keep it
While your school uses BloomBridge, and for a year after, so we can help if you come back. Ask us and we'll delete it sooner.
